NFL '24-25- lots of potential, any reality?

Raise? They need to rip off the band aid and let him go. All they're doing is going a game or two over .500, lose in the wild card round and draft in the high teens/early twenties. They've needed a new QB since about 2018 and are never going to find a good one drafting 18th.

Nobody decent would want the job.

no QB
no real talent on offense
no OL
defense blows

only talent on the team is Boswell

With the Rams losing today, and hosting the #5 seed next weekend, the Vikings could wind up having their season go as follows:
- Win 5 straight to get to 5-0;
- Lose back-to-back games to the Lions then Rams to fall to 5-2;
- Win 9 straight to get back in the mix at 14-2;
- Lose back-to-back games to the Lions then Rams to end the season.

Quite frankly, that's the type of poetic failure the Vikings excel at throughout their history. Place your bets accordingly. :p

The only thing I didn't see coming was the Vikings getting blown out in back-to-back games to end the season.

Since going up 27-10 against Green Bay in the 3rd Quarter of Week 17, the Vikings have been outscored 72-12 over the last 7 quarters.

Oh well. 14-4 was a much better run than I expected.

With their loss tonight, the Vikings re-take sole possession of the record for most playoff losses (32). They were tied with Dallas entering tonight's game.

That Detroit game shook his confidence. He was better tonight, but nothing like the self-sure QB he was for most of the season.

More the o line than him. Way more. A few of those speeds up the clock to throw the passes off and he’s back to what he was.

And then the o coordinator didn’t adjust pass routes to give him some quick outlets.

He surely had a bad game, but it was a team effort to drop off that far.

My sister lives in the DC area. She HATES the Commanders specifically for this reason and the ridiculous over-coverage the local media gives them.

My mom already hated football, and then moved to the DC area in 1978, so needless to say that did not change her mind about the sport or the DC franchise. And then she moved to Ashburn of all places, which is where the WFT headquarters is located, but I gotta say that one's on her.
