NFL '24-25- lots of potential, any reality?

Hope it works out better for you than the Vikings.

-Kick butt for a couple games
-Get hurt and suck
-Blame everyone else for his problems

now those missed calls had a lot more impact on the game. They should have given Cincinnati another chance for the go ahead 2 point conversion, but a missed hold and a missed hit to the QB facemask meant that the Bengals didn't get a chance to go ahead.

Replay assist for at least the player safety facemask/strike to the helmet would go a long way. Especially when there is mechanism to remove the call.

That was the first win for a team that was down by more than 15 AND had 5 INT's since 1970. Holy cow, Lions, I thought you were dead in the first quarter. But the D came back and held the Texans to nothing in the 2nd half. What a win for Detroit.

Holy sh-t, Lions. Stop the fight!

I know some people might have issues with the Lions doing trick plays in games like that, but if you watched the Jags linebacker react to it- IMHO, the Lions are setting up teams to expect the trick plays. Which means that some of those plays may open up space for the non trick part of the play.

Bills beat the Chiefs to the delight of everyone. Now do that again in the AFC Championship game.

That game and the ending to the Steelers-Ravens game was pretty darned good- for the top teams in the AFC.

For a couple of average teams, the Seattle score super late over SF was fun, too.

Packers block the game winning Bears field goal to win 20-19. Boo.

Packers did everything they could to lose that one. Goal line interception, stopped at the two on 4th and goal, then burning a timeout on a challenge with three minutes left when they would get the ball first and goal at the half yard line anyway. But, the Bears had Bears luck.

Last nights game was interesting- San Diego got out to a big lead in the first half, gave up the whole thing to the Bengals just after the 2 min warning. Pretty exciting to see the come back.

Then BOTH teams really quickly went 3 and out. How many times have you seen TWO 3/outs after the 2 min warning. And there was enough time left for the San Diego Chargers of LA to have a min left to run down the field to win. It was if neither team wanted to win, but the Bengals wanted to less.
