NFL 2023-24. Now without Dan Snyder!

Is mookie supposed to feel bad for mahommies? Is it ok for a team to be offsides on offense? They still call that on defense. Heck, the Stillers suffered a call on their center during a fg attempt.
why is mahommies special?!? :/)

Just saw a lot of replays of that. I honestly can’t see another option for the ref. He was beyond the ball, and the penalty was called well before the play got really going- so the ref had no idea that they would score. Can’t blame him for making the call on a specific play.

The refs overlooked a lot of illegal formation for KC in the Lions game, and it really did matter when facing an edge rusher. It took 4 quarters for it to be finally called. So I’ll call bs on the refs and leeway. Let alone, had the receiver looked at the ref before the play, he would have been told he was over the line.

Sucks to be them.

The weird thing is they (or at least Mahomes) seem far more upset over an objectively correct call than they were over the missed DPI last week against Green Bay. Maybe the pressure finally sank in this game with the Broncos only a game behind now.

What the heck happened in this game? I'm assuming it didn't snow in Vegas.

Backup QB vs backup QB. And then it turned into third string QB vs backup QB because Minnesota’s backup somehow is getting worse the more he learns the offense. And then one of Minnesota’s top receivers went out.

So 49ers can get #1 if they win out. But that means likely playing both Dallas and Philly since one will be #5 and beat the AFC South #4, and the other will be #2 and beat the Lions. But then both games are at home. The other option is to get #2 and only have to face one of them, but then they also play an extra playoff game and play the CCG away (assuming no upsets).

I've seen 0-0 games that were white knuckle and well played, and I've seen 0-0 that were incompetent and laughable (and Ivy). So this was the latter?

I have to say, it sure seems that the only people who think the Lions can win the north are non Lions fans.

Looking at the rest of the schedule, they will go maybe 2-2 if the Vikings can’t figure themselves out. More likely the Vikings D will force another 3-0 game, so the lions finish 1-3.

And looking at GBs final games, including tonight they can easily go 4-1. if the pack and lions tie, the packers get the division thanks to H2h.

If I just skimmed every Lions fan posting here paying attention to attitude and not context, I'd think they win 4-9 rather than 9-4.

That's because they've played 20 good minutes of football since the bye. 5 vs. Chicago at home, 15 vs. New Orleans. Lost to <.500 Chicago and Green Bay (at the time) and won a 41-38 shootout vs. a Chargers team that beat the Pats 6-0. Very little of that imbues one with confidence.

When you see the amazing offense drop off a cliff like we see, not being one half or one game- the same problem has been going on for multiple games- you really wonder if this is permanent or not. Especially when 3 of the last 4 games are up against some real defenses. The Vikings offense sucks, sure. But the D is really good. I’ll write off Dallas as a loss, and Denver is really playing well.

So the only games I can see winning is Minnesota. Thanks to their D- it’s 50/50.

Have to be realistic here. If the issue was just Baltimore and 3/4 of Chicago, I’d have a much better feeling. But it’s been every game since the ravens to different degrees.

My favorite thing about the awkward TD that just put the Vikings up 14-3 was the broadcast showing backup QB Nick Mullens’ kid sleeping in the stands.
