NFL 2023-24. Now without Dan Snyder!

Then why do I still hurt?
Deep breath; it's only a game, it's only a game.

2003 when the Red Sox lost to the Yankees in Game 7 I was destroyed. I walked around like a zombie for 2 weeks and that's when I said I will never again get involved in sports(heart and soul) like I had been.

I gave up getting emotional in 1998 after the Vikings lost to Atlanta in the NFCCG. When they lost to NO in 2009 I simply turned off the TV, went upstairs and read a few books to the kids.

Gophers hockey I guess still gets to me a little bit, and last year's NC game was a gut punch. Luckily we were in Myanmar at the time, and the game ended around 11 a.m. I spent the rest of the day with my wife and her family, and I didn't even bring up the result.

what happened after the 41-0 debacle in 2000?

We gave a collective shrug. Seriously, we just came to expect it by then. Denny Green seemed destined to prime up the fan base and then kill us. While the shutout was more embarrassing for the team, it was taken much better by the fans. And the Vikes were underdogs going into that game, IIRC, so it made the whole thing easier for people I knew.

I don’t know about underdogs, but the Vikings made Kerry freaking Collins look like Joe Montana.

Patriots flexed out of Monday Night game. Not even the allure of Taylor Swift on a Monday night was enough for the NFL to want this game shown in prime time.

Krafty Bob must be beside himself at how everything about his team has fallen apart.

And still be a better game than the Patriots

This whole country wants to watch the Patriots lose by 40.

It's why, when pedos get wasted in prison, nobody -- prisoners, screws, warden -- ever says anything. It's brutal, but so satisfying.
