I wasn't rooting for him in last year's AFC championship! :D Having said that, I thought he handled that defeat well. I'm not surprised in the least that the Chiefs cleared another hurdle this year, although I would have thought they'd have to go through whiny Baltimore than Tennessee.

As an aside, I was looking back at some stuff from the 1970 Super Bowl, the last time that KC was there, played in old Tulane Stadium in New Orleans. The halftime show (which I don't remember) was apparently a "re-enactment" of the Battle of New Orleans." W T F?

My FIL was there as a MN fan in the stands, talked about having to help hold up the hot air balloon during the half-time show due to the high swirling winds in the stadium.

Eli is supposedly retiring. Sources have said, but nothing is confirmed.

If true, I'll miss Eli Face.

Warrant issued for his arrest after he apparently beat the crap out of his movers. He is now barricading himself in his house.

All I get with Tennessee is that song about his 6-year old which, TBH, is a sweet f-cking song.

I quote Star Trek episodes I saw (in syndication) in the 70s. I'm right there with you.

I just realized that a person who had watched baseball for as long as I have now (49 years) watching the first game I ever saw (1971) would have watched Ty Cobb, Grover Cleveland Alexander, and Tris Speaker play. And Johnny Evers, as in the poem.
