Just to reiterate (from a Pats fan's perspective). No mookie stink. No Scooby stink. Stick with your own teams guys. Kepler stink covering the Eagles? Cool.

While in jap land we paid a visit to the investment bank everyone loves to hate to hear the resident economic expert there tell us about the local economy. She was very smart, j girl from America. Went to that school in Cambridge that your boys beat last week. She tells us that taxes hurt entrepreneurial spirit in j land. Taxes are high and ceo types have no incentive cause top rate 55%: she has been advising Abe to reduce that, etc.
Mookie asks her “ when does that kick in?”

What's the difference in terms of $$$?
Saw a good article this year about QB's. The premise was that most teams have crappy defenses because they have to spend 30M a year on mediocre QB's like Smith, Cousins and Bortles for example. Even if you have a good QB he's taking up a huge amount of cap space. The difference on the Patriots is that Brady has been relatively underpaid for the position his entire career, which allows them to pay more to shore up the D (Hightower resigned, big contract for Gilmore, etc).
Makes some sense. Houston and Jax have a bunch of solid guys on D but the O is terrible (no QB's) while a team like the Steelers is chock full of superstars on offense but they're running out a bunch of guys who couldn't cover a traffic cone in their secondary.
