Re: NFL 2017: With Dollar Signs in Goodell's Eyes

Wentz once again has the number 1 selling jersey.

Not bad at third downs either ;)

I'd love to see the avg yardage of those third downs compared to Rodgers.

Lol, so there are videos where you can see every pass CW throws. Watching one on youtube now, in the first game against Washington he's thrown one pick six, four interceptable passes, one horribly inaccurate backwards pass that resulted in a fumble, and a few other very easy completions turned incompletions due to his inaccuracy. This is just in the first half :D

The obsession is real. LMAO.

Yeah, I don't really get it. You'd think that anyone who watched Mitch Leidner throw a football around for four years like it was a 20 pound sack of potatoes would fall on his knees in praise for a quarterback who could even throw a spiral.

HAHAHAHA. As a fan of the Packers and the Gophers let's just say I don't take someone like Rodgers for granted.

I don't think anyone will mistake Wentz for Rodgers. But I hope he has some success.

There is Brady then Rodgers. Wentz is 22 games in his career. Not saying he will be the next Rodgers but be will be an above average QB. Hell right now he is a top 10 QB. I'm just going to enjoy it while he's still playing as we all know it can end just like that.

Re: NFL 2017: With Dollar Signs in Goodell's Eyes

For the record he is better this year but last year he was terrible and pretty easily in the bottom 5-10 starters.

Re: NFL 2017: With Dollar Signs in Goodell's Eyes

List the top 10 starters for next week. The problem is there's about 4 top 10 QBs and 28 bottom 10 QBs.
I don't know.

If you skip injuries right now, I could pretty easily name 10 quarterbacks in the NFL that I'd rather have on my team today than Wentz. I'm just talking about winning this season. Obviously someone like Drew Brees might not playing 10 years from now, but Wentz may. But ignoring that, Wentz wouldn't be in my top 10.

I don't know if he's in my top 10 either, and have no attachment to Wentz at all, but I do think that from about 6-20 there is very little difference. I can't definitively say I'd rather have Brees for this season over Wentz, not much difference between the two if you ask me.

No sheet Sherlock. I will be the first to admit he had somewhat of a tough rookie year. Carson admits that. But this year is different now that he has some more talent around him. Anyhoo it's pretty dam cool to have a family member who is an NFL QB. With that said everyone has a right to their opinion. Carson loves proving folks wrong.

Brees doesn't have nearly as many flaws as Wentz despite being like 40 years old.
