Vikings DB ignore the game plan and do it their way.

It didn't work.

Re: NFL 2016-17: Your Fantasy Team Will Suck This Year.

Interesting scenario I saw on Reddit:

DAL beats DET, WAS beats NYG Week 17.

That means the winner of DET/GB on Sunday Night Football clinches the NFC North, loser can't beat WAS for the 6-seed and misses the playoffs. However, if there's a tie, GB takes the NFC North and DET wins the 6 seed over WAS on head-to-head.

Let's see Goodell deal with 60 minutes of kneeldowns on SNF.

Re: NFL 2016-17: Your Fantasy Team Will Suck This Year.

That would be amazing. But it would be 75 minutes of kneeldowns ;)

Re: NFL 2016-17: Your Fantasy Team Will Suck This Year.

Roger would straight up murder someone's family to prevent the kneeldown-fest. Detroit would end up, in typical Detroit fashion, going "all in" with the win or nothing strategy ;)

Nah, it'll be 60. DET will win the OT coin toss and say "eff it" and start driving, drive sputters out at the GB 20, FG is blocked and run back for six.

THAT would be The Lions Way.

Re: NFL 2016-17: Your Fantasy Team Will Suck This Year.

Looks like all the games involving playoff teams will have an impact in the NFC, minus Dallas-Philly.

Still possible for Detroit to get a bye, possible for a rematch in GB or Detroit, Seattle and Atlanta can go anywhere from 2nd to 4th.

In the AFC, Oakland can still get the one seed.

Re: NFL 2016-17: Your Fantasy Team Will Suck This Year.

Kansas City just had a 330+ DL come in and toss a touchdown pass.

Re: NFL 2016-17: Your Fantasy Team Will Suck This Year.

I saw it, and still stand by my statement.

You mean both were bush league? ;)

j/k in a way, but I'll never agree that Payton shouldn't have got the ball in the SB after all he did for the Bears and after suffering through so many godawful teams before that. Yes the Fridge scoring was, "a moment" and entertaining but sometimes doing the right thing matters too.

I'm amazed that they scored 46 points that night and still couldn't get Payton into the end zone somewhere along the line.

And Ditka still regrets that happening (not getting Payton the rock). Just saying that "fat man tossing/running in a TD" isn't THAT big of a deal. Hell, Jared Lorenzen was on the Giants, at one point, even though he didn't throw a TD.

Re: NFL 2016-17: Your Fantasy Team Will Suck This Year.

So with the Chargers potentially leaving San Diego for LA where would they play until the Rams' stadium opens? Why, the StubHub Center of course!
5. I think if the Chargers move to Los Angeles for the 2017 season—which is increasingly very likely—my money is on them playing at the StubHub Center (formerly Home Depot Center) in the southern L.A. suburb of Carson. Capacity: 27,000. Now that’d be interesting for two years. The Chargers are serious about making that home for two years, in part because they know they’re not going to fill the cavernous Coliseum, in part because they’d like to develop a fandom that would love to see NFL games up close and personal.

For those you who don't know, the StubHub Center is the home of the LA Galaxy MLS team. An NFL team would be renting the stadium of an MLS team (and yes the Galaxy own the stadium) for two years. Wow.

No surprises here.. Rex Ryan has been relieved of his duties as head coach.
