NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

espn breaking the story on systemic cheating by the patsies and the nfl trying to cover it up (to protect goodell's bff krafty Bob)

To Patsies fans upset with the above - how would the above be good for Goodell and make ends for him to orchestrate? I don't care either way but at least come up with something better than conspiracies that make zero sense.

Re: NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

There wasn't any breaking story today. We all just hopped in the way back machine. The question is why? Sure, it doesn't make goodell look good but at this point i don't think he cares. Everyone already knows he's a liar and an idiot. Perhaps he was fine with the tradeoff knowing lemmings like mookie would think this is breaking news. ESPN has been proven to be in the tank for the league, have to think they got "permission" to bring all this up again.

The timing of this is interesting, right after the NFL lost their case. Not only is he petty and vindictive, it shows how the league really needs a man of integrity with no ax to grind. He could have won but not allowing due process, no access to notes from the NFL lawyers, and not allowing the NFL lawyers to be questioned shows how he lacked any sense of impartiality in hearing the case. He is arrogant and in bed with the owners.

It also shows the ESPN lipstick mark on the NFL arse.

Ok, this actually makes a LOT more sense than someone at ESPN having the independent thought of sh!!ting on a Boston-based team and actually carrying it out.

Re: NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

Newest stupidity coming out of NY Jets/ESPNBA.... One of the reasons Brady got off is because he is White

If he paid attention to the previous 4 cases that the NFL lost, there were Afro-American players too that had their penalty reduced too. So it has nothing to do with a Black/White thing. Another guy TJ Ward, didn't he take out Gronk's knee when he was with Cleveland ? Sorry TJ your suspension will not be rescinded.

Re: NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

Rice fell to zero like whitey?
Greg hardy get reduced to zero like GLA
Cracker?

Still miss the good old days when CBS and FOX could have doubleheaders and you got 2 games at noon and 3pm...not just one...between Dish and Broadcast I can get 3 games at noon but only 1 at 3pm...boo

I believe that will be changing in the next contract, based upon news reports about Congress coming down on the NFL this past January.

I'm talking about a contract choice, not the home game blackout rules...
Currently the NFL contracts only allow CBS or FOX to show 2 games live in each market, except for week 17.

Back in the dark ages - while at Clarkson, we got TV from Plattsburgh/Burlington, Syracuse, Watertown, Hamilton, Ottawa, and Montreal. Usually 4 games was normal.

Back in the stone age before President Nixon got the home blackout lifted, we'd get 2 games in NYC - the Jets or Giants road game and the game on the other network when the Giants/Jets were not playing. We could not watch the 68 AFC Championship game (nor the 70 Knicks championship clincher) on home TV.

Other things for which Belicheat has done to this world:

...controls the British crown
...keeps the metric system down
...keeps Atlantis off the maps
...keeps the Martians under wraps
...holds back the electric car
...made Steve Guttenberg a star
...robs cavefish of their sight
...rigs every Oscar night

Steve Guttenberg didn't need anybody's help to get to the top.
