It's a distraction? The NFL goobered this up but if anyone thinks this story or any other distracts from the other issues you're not living in the 21st century. The NFL has monetarily addressed the concussion and health issues and that is not going away. And every local news source in NFL cities reports on the criminal shenanigans of players. Plus most fans couldn't give twin shits about deflate-gate. Not only that most are on the side of the Patriots so if anything they're doing a disservice to their image. Perhaps you should ask Goodell about his birth certificate and if he's ever been to a grassy knoll in Dallas. :rolleyes:

breaking? didn't they just rehash spygate/allegations that have already been brought up? and roger goodell claims he wants to get back to football. LOL.

Martz also recalls that Goodell asked him to write a statement, saying that he was satisfied with the NFL's Spygate investigation and was certain the Patriots had not cheated and asking everyone to move on -- like leaders of the Steelers and Eagles had done.

The Super Bowl against the Patriots had derailed Martz's career as much as it made Belichick's. Martz's offense, dubbed "The Greatest Show on Turf" in 1999, was never the same, and in 2006, he was fired as the Rams' coach. After bouncing around the league, he was then the 49ers' offensive coordinator.

I just read that article too. That's exactly what that article is, a rehash of spygate with a bunch of quotes that the Pats cheated from anonymous league sources. Sounds like someone at ESPNBA is bitter that the Pats keep winning and haven't been kicked out of the NFL yet.
