To what end? Why should they care if his suspension starts now, or at a point where their appeal gets heard? You can't undo missed games, so I'm not sure what an emergency injunction does for them.

So brady can't play right now? That's not being reported.

And if you're happy pats fans will finally shut up, blame the league for dragging this out and making a big deal of air pressure in a football.

True. The league should receive most of the blame. I just don't get why they keep making the Patriots cheat.

Pats are lucky Goddell is so incompetent. A pox on all their houses. Neither has anything to be proud of.

In the end, doesn't matter what a judge or anyone else says. League already did the damage they wanted to do by swaying public opinion. So believe what you want, i know nothing will change that.

Raising that super bowl banner with brady under center is something to be proud of. I just hope all balls can still be deflated. Don't want brady playing like he did in 2nd half against colts or against seattle.

It isn't and never was about footballs. it's been a PR move by Goodell (that backfired BTW) to distract from real issues (Concussions, abuse, domestic violence, reckless endangerment, etc,). And now the NFL will appeal. Way to drag this out. At least Goodell is good at something, getting his ar$e kicked in court when the owners think they can do what they want.

hey mook, how come 2 out of the 4 Colts balls they tested came up underinflated? And why didn't they test the rest?

no they won't. Brady is free to play according to MSN.

NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said the league would not seek an emergency stay, freeing Brady to play while an appeals court considers the case. The Patriots open Sept. 10 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
