Why not move into the Coliseum permanently? The thing's iconic. Or is it assumed the owners will want to own their own stadium so they can jerk around their fans Dan Snyder style?

There's actually a proposal for a joint Raiders/Chargers stadium that would be privately funded I believe. It's probably more than the coliseum would need heavy renovations, and it seats like 92.000 so they would probably have to tarp part of it off like USC does, and no NFL team wants to do that.

Does it have club seats and luxury boxes though? Nowadays it's less about having seats and more about having premium seats you can mark up.

As for the Rose Bowl, while it's a lovely stadium, it's hard to imagine a lot of fans wanted to make that trek 8+ times a year. I'm honestly surprised UCLA gets anyone to show up.

With NFL blackout rules regarding ticket sales, there's no way that TV market would ever get to see a game broadcast into their homes ever again if they used a stadium with that many seats.

I thought they were augmented, but some bits of them still were in place. I know they had pressure put on them from the Senate and then the FCC came down with a ruling, but wasn't that just for blacking out the out-of-market games for when your in-market team failed to make their ticket sales quota?

People only started becoming offended in the last decade. Blacks, women and the like were just indifferent.

People have been offended since the dawn of time. Only recently have people equated bring offended with being harmed.

The two are not the same.

Keep telling yourself that "being offended" is the crux of any significant movement rather than actually being harmed.

It would be a real PITA to change hardware every few months. I have too much on my phone that I don't want to re-establish.
