NFL 2014-15: Iron Fist Getting Rusty?

And you can add me too.
And me as well.

It's funny, having lived in Alaska my whole life I was somewhat sheltered from the impact the NFL has. It wasn't until I lived in Seattle (Tacoma, but it's easier to say Seattle) going to school I got to see how much of a stranglehold an NFL team has in their market.

Yep, even here in the state of hockey, it's Vikings first.

How did Andy Dalton go from "red heads can't play in the NFL" to overpaid under achiever?

Brents boy Tebow has more playoff wins and is out of the game.

Johnny Clipboard.

Common suggested this yesterday. He said he'll have a nickname progression:

Football, Clipboard, Johnny Bench (I laughed), CFL, No Name (or something like that)

All of which were stolen from other places, the same way I did :). In all seriousness though, do people actually listen to that guy's show? I've lived in Milwaukee, Denver, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Saint Paul and KFAN offers the most terrible lineup of sports talk I've ever heard. And whatever that thing is that they call the Common Man is the worst of all of them.

Re: NFL 2014-15: Iron Fist Getting Rusty?

I only heard it because I was driving to St. Paul from cottage grove at the time he was on and my radio was on KFAN when I started the car.

I actually despise Common.

Micheal Sam just sacked Johnny Manziel - then did Johnny's "cash" gesture from the draft.

If LeBron tweets about it Bristol might just explode. It'll be the ESPN equivalent of crossing the streams.

And here in Michigan, the Lions reign supreme, even though the Tigers and Red Wings are better teams.

I heard an ad while driving yesterday about whatever the morning show on WBBL is now, since I think they've changed hosts like five times in the last four years, but it went:

"Monday morning on "Blank and Blank" we'll be talking about Lions-Jaguars, and which guys who are on the fence made the case to make the final 53-man roster. We'll also be talking Tigers, who have four games in three days in Minnesota."

Really? Talking about guys who probably won't even see the field most of the time is trumping a floundering team in the heat of a division/wild card race?
