It was legal, I don't think anyone is arguing that. It was the degree of necessity that is in question.

Yeah, I realize I was unclear, but that's pretty much what I meant by fair enough. To me, it looked close enough to the play that I honestly don't see much wrong with it.

If you didn't see it in the Grey Cup thread, former Vikings and BC Lions QB Joe Kapp duked it out with former Hamilton Tiger Cats bad boy Angelo Mosca at a CFL Alumni luncheon, 48 years after Mosca put a late hit on Lions' running back Willie Fleming in the 1963 Grey Cup game
By the way, Mosca in his heyday with the Ti-Cats made N-dummy Suh look like a choir boy.

Hard to say if he was leading with his helmet. It didn't look like it, it looked like he tried to turn his head so the crown of the helmet WOULDN'T hit him.

Currently tied for 3rd in my main league, with 2 other teams. I apparently have the tie breaker, despite scoring 116 points less than each of the other two teams. Mind asploded. 27-28 points is an avg score for a team in that league.
Mind you, I'd drafted Rashard Jennings (before it was revealed he was out for the year)/Knowshon/Felix. Ernest Graham was a pickup 2 weeks before he was knocked out for the year. I actually started Phillip Tanner (DAL) for a couple weeks. That desperate. FTR, Torrey Smith (BAL) was undrafted, picked up, dropped, picked up again by a different team, and again dropped, because of the depth of our league.
I won't make the playoffs barring a miracle, am probably going to make the Mediocrity Bowl, but still have a chance at the Brent (Toilet) bowl (long story on how that was named).
