And I don't think the majority of the public approved using public money. Plus, there was no referendum, yet again.

I don't want to pay for a stadium, but it looks like I'm going to.

Yeah, thats probably all true. I'm just saying that the way the government works, it doesn't really matter, because we elect people to make decisions in what they perceive to be our best interest. If we don't like what they do, we vote them out. (sorry for the civics lesson)

The public isn't paid to decide what the government does with our taxes - that's why we vote.

My coworker and I did our usual NFL playoffs bet, except this year we did it one round earlier than normal, we each picked 4 of the remaining teams. I picked 1,4,5,8 and he picked 2,3,6,7.
Our teams in order picked:
Me: Packers, 49ers, Ravens, Texans
Him: Saints, Patriots, Giants, Broncos

Thoughts?

They've been poor all year. It's been odd seeing Periera go from agreeing with every call a couple years ago to tearing apart 2-3 decisions a game.
