NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

I say trade Lynch or Jackson. Trade Florence and stockpile picks. Draft Mallet or Locker. (I'm not touching another Stanford QB. Sorry Andrew Luck.) And then keep picking linemen. People laughed at Bill Parcells when he did that with the Giants, but I think he didn't hear people with those 2 Super Bowl rings in his ears. :D (Sorry Patrick Roy.)

I've been a fan since 86 when I was 6 years old. I thought the K Gun was the greatest offense ever invented.

Ah, good ol' Keith McKeller (who the K Gun was named after).

Yeah, trading them would be smart, but we are dealing with someone who has hired (and extended) Dick Jauron and hired Chan Gailer.

Edit: gscott: that's the rumor, and the rumor is to the Pack, but their GM is more stubborn than ours.

Bills fans will always have Tecmo Super Bowl. QB Bills and Thurman, and the Patriots were pink.

/been playing it recently.

I long for the days of Pete Metzelars, McKellar, James Lofton, and company.

That stubborn GM in Green Bay looks like a genius after telling #4 to take a hike. :D

Don Effing Beebe FTW. ;)

And Lofton will always be a Packer to me. Sorry, but that's how I see it. :o

Someday, our time will come, and I will probably shed a tear of joy. And proceed to get really really blasmed. :D

He's probably going to grab Danny Woodhead and take him home. He loves that guy. He loves all guys.

40-14, thanks to the Papier-mâché Defense.

Well, The Hobbit would probably just about fit in his pocket. ;)

Old D2F joke about him.

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

Wow...that was close, I was up 30+ going into tonights game and all that was left was my opponent had the New England Defense...I ended up winning by 3 :o

Welcome to MNF Madness, the worst thing ever in FFL. I can't tell you how many meltdowns or over-exuberant celebrations were had because of that condition.

My coworker probably would have won but he was out of town, demoralized from an 0-3 start and didn't take the time to find a TE for Whitten's bye week.

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

Doubt he wanted to pay the transaction fee

Ah. Know what the penalty is for that (not fielding a complete lineup) in our league (this is within the same season, btw)?

1st time: $20
2nd time: $33
3rd time: kicked out of the league

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

That we require teams that care and don't mail it in? That is one of my biggest peeves about Fantasy sports.
requiring a team to start a full roster...I've benched players on monday night before, for fear of negative points costing me in a close match.

So close for me this week. Down by 15ish with me having Mayo and him with the Miami Kicker. I had written off the week as a loss...and Mayo got me 15. Too bad he got 2 XPs. I was rooting for the Pats to give the ball back to Miami, I only needed 1.5 more points!

Still, the fact that I was even in contention this week was a miracle. I only had ONE TD, from Matt Ryan.

I've been hit with the injury bug. Grant, Jackson, McFadden, Andre Johnson, Shiancoe, Boss...etc etc .

Still, 2-2, second in my division is okay. I got plenty of yards this week, just no TDs. That happens.

And this is why I think negative points are retarded. The NFL doesn't do negative points...:p
