Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

Down by 1. Have Steve Smith/Fitzgerald. Need one of them to either score, or get 100 yards.

Still p*ed about Drew *ing Brees and Saints K.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

Why didn't I start Steven Jackson. I should have stopped caring if he would get into the end zone or not.

Also, I should have picked up Miles Austin.

And Eli Manning is terrible.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

I'm in your Holy Cross mode and have been since the half.

I'm down 17 with Manningham and Fitzgerald (both have dropped TD passes tonight). He has Portis tomorrow. He started 3 players on Bye weeks. It was not meant to be this week with the crap my team put up.

Still on the phone with my opponent. Phone thrown twice. Clear across the apt. Fitz has 84 yds or so. They love Beanie. Steve Smith is non-existent.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

Thrown phones: 4
Accidentally hung up on opponent: 1
Loss: I want to kill myslef.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

Brent: I'm 1-6 this year, and atleast 4 of those losses can be attributed to my opponent having 1 or 2 people having career weeks out of nowhere. I'm in the top half of my league in overall points scored, yet I sit in 11th out of 12th.

My opponent this week? Not only my protege....but he had Brees, and I had NO K, which meant that had MIA not blocked that XP in the game, it woulda been a win for me, before the ARI/NYG game even happened. (NO got the XP blocked, then went for two at the end of the game, meaning I missed two points, and therefore losing the game by 1 point......yeah).

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

Miami didn't block it, apparently Carney just hooked it.

Besides that I'm sorry. I once lost a game because Ryan Longwell threw a TD.

Sigh.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

Sure we suck but at least none of our QBs are sociopaths, nice pass by dog killer.
