Brenthoven Meltdown Mode?

It's a constant 6 right now. The worst part is, depending on tiebreakers, if I lose, but win the last week, and he loses the last week, "I'M IN *ING HOUGHTON AND WON'T KNOW CRAP ABOUT THE GAMES."

You'll be driving home with someone with a blackberry, trust me, you'll be able to get regular updates. :p

Braylon Edwards allows a potential 84-yard TD pass to bounce off his helmet with the closest defender 15 yards away.

Not to mention Sanchez was already running down the field ready to celebrate the TD...that was awesome!

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

Maybe it's just Rexy's usual bravado, but the Jets have been really smart to talk up Revis as the game's best corner. The refs are buying into it and he can apparently do anything he wants, while other corners receive flags for looking at a receiver the wrong way.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

All perfunctory Millen-bashing aside, he really doesn't add much to these broadcasts. Tonight we've heard "they're running the crap out of the ball" and "now it's the Braylon Edwards show" after he'd caught his third pass against two drops. And the whole booth was sound asleep when the officials failed to put 10 seconds back on the clock after a replay reversal under 2:00. If the Bills had come up with a decent kickoff return, the clock mistake could have cost them.

And can't the NFL sell any ads for these games? They keep showing the same promos every commercial break. At this rate they might as well just show the game without commercials and drum up some buzz that way.

Meanwhile, it looks like the Jets are poised to pull away a bit.

That's fine...how the Bills have four wins this season is beyond me anyways. I love the eternal optimism of my fellow Bills fans who actually think this a decent team adn Fitzpatrick is a quality quarterback.

The more losses the better in my mind. Then we'll have a better shot at drafting one of the QB's in this year's draft.

Hence my not actively rooting for the Bills (so Jauron would be fired; step one complete) and hoping they just blow up the team, and build around Fred Jackson (who's a decent back, and might be a really good back with the right run offense around him).

Trouble is, Bills still think they can get close/make the playoffs. Ugh.
