Re: New/Rented Movies : Pixar actually made a bad movie

My wife was watching Sleeping Beauty a couple nights ago, and though I didn't catch much of it (she said it was a great movie FWIW), good lord Emily Browning is pretty.

I am Number Four

UUUUUUUGGGGHHHHH. Dianna Agron is a looker, but there is no saving that crap.

Re: New/Rented Movies : Pixar actually made a bad movie

I enjoyed the other two so I am sure this one will be alright :)

People should not be surprised the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is getting good reviews...I never read the books but from what I have been told Fincher is about the perfect choice to direct them as films.

I now own the Swedish movie trilogy, and I was more than pleased with Fincher as the director. I wonder how Aronofsky would have done, if Fincher didn't do it.

Anyway, from the sounds of it in reviews....the dirty/icky/creepy parts are even more disturbing in the US version. But thank you, MPAA for not making it NC-17 and thereby killing any kind of theater run. Ugh, I need to douse myself in bleach now to cleanse myself for that MPAA comment.

He was looking for me to make a comment so he could mock me for being a geek. Thank you for answering for me :)

Not true at all. I look forward to the movie myself and I can't remember the last time I played the geek card. But I'm not gonna lie and say he doesn't remind me of some of the outsiders from The Road Warrior. :)

George C Scott's "Christmas Carol" on tonight. Best. Version. Ever.

One might recognize Robin Colcord (character on Cheers, and the actor was in Robin Hood: Men In Tights), or Hillary from Top Secret! in bit roles....

Great movie.

Geez between DKR and The Hobbitt Warner Bros. is going to have a lucrative year

Re: New/Rented Movies : Pixar actually made a bad movie

They're pimping The Hobbit a year in advance? That's gonna be a long wait for some of us...

Though I suppose it has been almost a decade between stories.

TDKR was long enough, since we all knew it was gonna happen years ago. Just sayin'.

Re: New/Rented Movies : Pixar actually made a bad movie

I just read an article about how people going to movies is declining due to the quality of movies out right now. So it makes people want to save their money for better movies they want to see, like "War Horse." Uh... do people really want to see this movie? Because it has absolutely no appeal to me.

It looks like it could be good, but it also looks like it's trying way too hard for an Oscar, and that usually doesn't work (see Benjamin Button).

Re: New/Rented Movies : Pixar actually made a bad movie

Has anyone watched Red State? I tried watching it once and decided I was too tired at that time and never gave it a second try. Thoughts?

Spielberg's emotion-organ has only three notes: Weep! Laugh! Slow clap!

Love the DKR trailer. Any chacne Bane can be at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Saturday to take care of a certain team and I'm not talking about the one Tebow plays for?
