I hate that movie...I would rather listen to Miley Cyrus on a loop for 24 hours than watch that stupid piece of crap and I am not exaggerating. It ranks up there with jewelry commercials, The Fighting Sue and the entire state of Wisconsin and Iowa with things I hate most.

I'm not particularly a fan of A Christmas Story (saw it for the first time 2 years ago), but I am getting excited for our annual viewings of Scrooged! (I guess this should go in the movie thread)

Best Christmas movie ever is Holiday Inn. Nothing else remotely close.

Christmas Story rocks, though, as does everything Shep did.

I don't like Christmas movies. For the most part, anything Christmasy puts me in a horse**** mood, and makes me want to drink.

Bingo...Scrooged (and Die hard) are so much more enjoyable than that stupid movie with the annoying kid I am not sure there is a mathematical equation that can explain it. I honestly hope people only like A Christmas Story because they are supposed to because if they enjoy it for real I think it is actually the seventh sign of the apocalypse! :eek:

If there truly is a War on Christmas, please Holy One Tebus be He let that piece of crap and everyone that is in it be the first casualties!

I actually love it because it's a great story. So many classic lines, too. Grew up watching it every year, and when they started the 24-hour marathon, that was one of the best "presents" I ever got.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is a solid 2nd for favorite Christmas movies, though. :)

Id say for me its Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation and Scrooged. Maybe Nightmare Before Christmas and Home Alone 1 and 2 . Die Hard is great. But Ive never really looked at is a Christmas movie.
