Versus has been playing Slap Shot the past few nights. The part with Hanrahan and his wife, not surprisingly, are heavily edited. The edits are some of the worst I've ever seen.

Some movies are just not met to be on TV and its stricter moral codes. Slapshot is one of those movies... along with Blazing Saddles.;)

That edit always cracks me up. Obviously, the real line is "...or he's gonna have someone's c*k in his mouth before you can say Jack Robinson!"

Saw the trailer for "A Serious Man" tonight. Looks pretty good. Same with "The Men Who Stare At Goats."

The one where they use the sound of his head being smashed against the chalkboard as a beat for the trailer to follow? That's one of the best trailers I've seen in a long time. It's had me looking forward to A Serious Man for months.

I also saw a commercial for The Men Who State at Goats, and I am fairly certain I'll be seeing that one as well.

But Zombieland is up first this weekend. I want to watch Woody Harrelson kill zombies. :)

Trailerama on HDNet (I think that was the channel) is great. That's where I caught the aforementioned trailers. It's a 1/2 hour show that only shows trailers. Duh. Easier than looking them up on the 'net.:)

The Men Who Stare At Goats is an awesome book. The author is a really funny guy to talk to as well. I'm really looking forward to seeing it.

I have Friday off, so I will go catch a matinee of Zombieland. That looks like good clean zombie killing fun.

When Zombieland's trailers were running about 3 months ago, they got **** near a standing ovation at my theatre. I've never seen that before . They were better than the features. (I have seen that before.)

I have family coming in from out of town to visit this weekend, but I may just have to drag everyone to this movie. It looks awesome. Wholesome family entertainment.

So basically Hollywood these days is remade movies and movies with Zombies and Vampires...and they wont why no one wants to pay 10 bucks to watch their crap ;)

Yeah he forget to mention sequels, and sequels of sequels, and other unoriginal ideas. I, personally, really need to see what will happen in Shrek 4 since the first three left so many storylines hanging.
