Funny how Elmira only gets some love after they tie Plattsburgh. Earlier in the season when Elmira was used as a measuring stick for Oswego the jury was still out![]()
Seriously grow a brain and read more....Elmira was questionable because they were missing a huge chunck of their team to injuries at the begining of the season.
MY two cents..
1A. Oswego
1B. Norwich
2A. Elmira
2B. Plattsburgh
..in the East.
Oswego and Norwich slightly above Elmira and Platty...and I do mean slightly. Tuttle shows up on any given night and Elmira can easily beat any team in the country. Same goes for Klinger. Oswego stays out of the penalty box and they are tough. If Platty can learn to put the puck in the back of the net, they can beat anyone.
Even though I know it can't happen, this would be an excellent Frozzen Four!
I think there are a few teams outside the east that would have an arguement about it being a 'dream' frozen four
Best post I've seen.
I agree that would be a dream Final Four that would probably come very close to selling out the Herb Brooks Arena.

Oswego has better finishers if that helps. So when Plattsburgh beats Oswego in the SUNYAC title game with their best forward, top 1 or 2 defensemen back and not Leis I guess we will say Plattys better too right?
and has also only managed victories in 5 of their last 10 games.
Actually, they are 6-2-2 in their last ten games which includes games @Norwich, @Elmira, @Williams, and @Oswego (yes, they are 0-2-2 in those games). Anyone else run that gauntlet since January 1st?
And it doesn't even include tonights's game @ Middlebury....

In the back of my head, I've been wondering if we will see an Oswego-Plattsburgh NC final like in 1987.
Obviously, it's possible depending on how they set the brackets up, but will it really happen?
If you're talking strictly attendance, it'd be tough to top Plattsburgh-Middlebury-Norwich-X.
My bad, it is 4 wins in their last 8, and 6 wins in their last 12. I fully acknowledge they have had a brutal schedule, which is why they are still ranked so high, and deservingly so.
