Thank you Josh Carey, you said exactly what i was going to say.Norm, thats complete Bull-crap and nothing but excuses, Utica has worked so hard to beat the #10,#15 & #8 teams(not to say that you said that, but it was the signal you sent by saying that), and not to mention how close we got to Oswego St. and Neumann University.Utica undoubtfully should be ranked, if not, what does it take to be ranked then? Plattsburgh is doing good, but Utica right now is definetly doing better, for the time being, thats a fact.

This just angers me to see how far my team is coming along this season and then their discredited like this and pushed aside for some team who once was a power house like Oswego in the past seasons and never left the top 5 spots in the polls and now is thought that they should be ahead of a team thats flat out hotter than them right now.How does how good Emery has done in the past and how good our head coach has done in the past, have a thing to do with this season and how good the teams are doing and a determining factor in who gets ranked?

I think Utica deserves to be ranked 13th or 14th.

Because getting shutout by Oswego will get gain you more points than beating Norwich

I'm a little shocked Geneseo gained in the poll after being shut out 4-0 last week but I guess it was a tumultuous week. The committee clearly thinks Oswego is the real deal.

Platty could be at best 5-1 with that schedule. It may be unfair to say, but screw it.

Because they are an undefeated Interlock team. See Bowdoin.

Whether we're "sold" on either team or not. It's the world we live in with these polls. Oswego smoked Bowdoin 9-1 last year in the tournament and the pooh bears started the season ranked sixth or something like that.

I didn't mean to suggest they aren't, it's just not often you see a ranked team get shut out at home and improve their standing in the poll, regardless of who they're playing.

Last year around this time the argument was why wasn't Platty #1. Now its why aren't they 16th? What a difference a year makes.

I can see complaining about the former, but the latter? Really now?

What committee? It's some group of people that produces a list of how they think the rankings are. The group of people might change from week to week.

I know I have been blabbing about this a lot but seriously what is the rationale for Gustavus at 6 and Hamline being ranked? And would someone also like to explain how Eau Claire is only at 14 after sweeping Stout and have wins over 3 teams ranked higher than them. Thoughts?
