New Hampshire at Vermont : 69ing since 1789

Re: New Hampshire at Vermont : 69ing since 1789

How'd ya suppose the Pats thought that their 16-0 regular season went after the SB loss to the Giants a few yrs back?? I am thinking not so grand.... PLAYOFFS MATTER. A LOT.

thats why we play the games

Yep.. and that is why playoffs exist in the first place. It IS a tournament. All the regular season does is slot the teams in the proper seeding for the tournament to follow.

Re: New Hampshire at Vermont : 69ing since 1789

Winning the RS and success in the tourney is unlikely if a team builds a big lead early and coasts. Tourney success is likely if a team plays great at the end of the season to win the RS and then carries that level of play into the tourney. You can come up with many exceptions of teams who coasted and turned it on in the tournaments, but they are indeed the exceptions. The frustration of UNH fans is that UNH has won many RS titles but not HE and NCAA titles. The key is how well they played at the end of the regular season and carried it into the tournaments. Therefore, sweep UVM and NU and play super against BC. The RS title will be whatever it becomes and the team, and its fans, can have some optimism in March.

UNH hasn't been to the Garden since 2008 so why don't we start with a nice quarterfinal HE victory.

How many years combine have UNH and Vermont been in divison one? Thats a lot of years without winning a national title. I love the singature of UNH fans so funny posting stuff like regular season champs or ECAC or national title game appereances but its missing something a National Championship. Why don't you just post every single year the program has been in D1 and put still seaching for the hardware?

yup, not trolling at all...hypocrite
I hope, for your sake, Whitehead stays forever, because AsteriskU's plummet into the depths of LSSU/MTU's 'glory days' club is even more enjoyable knowing how much it eats away at y'all.

Re: New Hampshire at Vermont : 69ing since 1789

And what does that have to do with the UNH vs. Vermont series this weekend, hypocrite troll.

Re: New Hampshire at Vermont : 69ing since 1789

I poited out a fact that neither school has won a natioal title there for its the battle of nohardware as usual I just state facts.....

But who asked you in the first place?

You would think after that weak showing last weekend the last people we would hear chest-thumping was Maine fans. A 7-2 whipping at home to a low scoring bottom feeder and then barely win game 2 with that same bottom feeder missing 3 of its top d-men. Wow that 3rd title is right around the corner.

*1st did it 1st. *1st did it best. This guy is a charlatan.

And why didn't Maine win any ECAC titles? Because they didn't start cheating until 1984-1985. In fact they won zero, zilch, NADA until they started cheating - and even with cheating it still took them years to win anything.

Last tim I checked there are 2,000 asterisk trophies as well as 2,000 asterisk banners in orono. How many are in durham?
0 asterisks in Durham

You have cheated and still have no titles. Life, death, taxes, and UNH hockey coming up short for the NCAA title each year
Emailing 30 potential recruits has literally no effect on the on ice product, where as with Maine the NCAA found "As a result of the scope and nature of the violations, the university obtained significant recruiting and competitive advantages over a 10-year period in several sports, particularly in men’s ice hockey."

Compelling. Nice work LW. What reasonable person could dispute or deny those facts?
