So the assumption can be made Neuman acted alone in first in creating the grant, and then disposing of it when they got wind they were caught.

As far as next year schools, good question. I would say whoever is due for an audit of this type.

True, and IMO, they will still get "a de facto autobid", however, it is due to their high SOS success, but that will go to the top ECAC-West team, unless it is Neumann, but their participation in the ECAC tournament will not hurt the ECAC-West's chances, in fact should the ECAC-West champion defeat Neumann then the at large bid is improved (being Neumann is out).

Im sorry but if you give out 99% of these grants to athletes its cheating, period. This is not Geneseo or Potsdam where it was close. If you ask me a one year ban is to light.

3-0-1 in four games in a row at the Domes. The two middle games featured the best weekend performance by a goaltender I have ever seen in my 20 years watching college hockey when Adam Dekker absolutely played out of his dome to lead Utica to the three points that weekend. The three stars of the game were Adam Dekker's stick, Adam Dekker's blocker and Adam Dekker's glove.

Once again, one word gets me into trouble... heh heh. In the time that i've been here, Utica has gotten throttled, butchered, demolished, wrecked, dismantled etc. in that building. so i should say that in the last 2-3 years, it hasn't been good.

Speaking of Dekker, he's playing extremely well for the New Jersey Outlaws of the FHL. Leads the league in GAA, and Save Percentage. After a rough go in the SPHL, he may finally have this thing figured out. I think part of it was his health too, he does have some blood sugar issues. If you watched him back in the day, you'd see he would have Sunny Delight bottles on the cage for that reason. It's not impossible to manage, but in a sport where it's so high energy with a lot of split second reactions, stuff like that is important to monitor if you're going to be able to play well.

The ECAC West has just 10 NC wins out of their 40 wins vs. teams over .500

3 vs 7-6-3 Fredonia
2 vs 8-7-2 Buff State
1 vs 6-5-2 Middlebury

Thankfully they have two over Oswego and one over Amherst. The only two teams with a winning % over .590%.

Every team with a roster primarily made of Canadian kids is probably sweating right now.

There is at least another eastern team and western team that was told to shape up a few seasons ago. I guess we will see if they indeed did. I was tipped off on these two last season, so I'm guessing my source was pretty good.
