Re: NESCAC '12 to '13
Getting close to the party starting. The Polar Bears still have 3 teams in NCAA competition (goalie Lessard plays field hockey; not sure how many other ice hockey players are on the field hockey, soccer or volleyball team) and Middlebury has home NCAA action in soccer and field hockey (meaning Greer is unlikely to be on ice at Kenyon Friday). Williams still has their soccer team competing.
This weekend sees 8 NESCAC teams begin their conference schedules.
Amherst and Hamilton play their home and home series. I look for the Lord Jeffs to take 4 points.
Colby travels to Middlebury and I cannot imagine that works out too well for the White Mules, as the Panthers appear the class of the conference.
Williams plays 2 at Wesleyan; is this the year for Cardinal Cool-aide? Split
Conn College heads up Route 2 and plays Trinity; 4 points for the Bantams
The Polar Bears take their show on the road and visit Plattsburgh; see comment on the White Mule weekend (it will be the Cardinals 6th game of the season, and, well let's just say Stafford has never been kind to Bowdoin; 3/12/05 was a bit of a disaster and the last trip over, 12/2-12/3/05 saw 2 losses:

Update: So the various NESCACs go 0 for 6 in their NCAA competitions! Congratulations to all the players, coaches and parents on successful fall seasons!
