It's a nice story line. Carson really does appear to be both NFL caliber and a genuinely nice young man with his head squarely on his shoulders. Philly could be a cold hard place to fail.

Yep that was me. My phone went nuts. What a night. Philly is in love with Carson. For now. With that said every Philly fan I talked to last night said when he has a bad game it won't change because they just love his humble down to earth demeanor. Wore my gold number 11 signed Wentz Bison jersey to the game and it was unreal how many high 5's I got. Could of sold it 10 times over but would never do that. Big test Sunday against the Steelers. A night I will never soon forget in Chicago.

Carson Wentz is the first rookie in NFL history without an INT in his first 100 pass attempts to begin a career. Broke Tom Brady's rookie record of 82 passes without a pick.

And on SportsCenter this morning, Mel Kiper, Jr. did a little "I told you so" spot mentioning Carson's success. He then went on to talk about the coaching he received at NDSU and all the things he was asked to do. He ended with "Keep in mind that NDSU is not really a I-AA program, they're an ELITE I-AA program. Even without Wentz, they went into Iowa City and beat the Hawkeyes. I really think they could hold their own in the Big 10"...

Iowa is a big win for 'SU, but Iowa is clearly not what many thought they would be this year.

2000 was Brady's first year where he got into one game, had 3 pass attempts and completed one pass.

Wouldn't that have been his rookie year?

SDSU takes back the Dakota Marker on a last second TD. They were the better team. Bump in the road for the Bison? We shall see.

I think it's going to be funny to see what happens if UND keeps up its nice run and makes the 24 team playoff field. If NCAA Ice Hockey in any indication, you might as well write in UND's name in NDSU's bracket, which will have to be, pretty much, a "best of times, worst of times" feeling for the fans down in Fargo. :)

You can bet your house that it will happen if both teams make it. I for one would love it.
