NDSU Bison

Re: NDSU Bison

Needless to say last night was the first time I drafted a relative on my fantasy football team. Got Carson in the 12th round.

With how many points Eastern Washington put up on FBS opponent Washington St. the Bison will have their hands full at the Fargo Dome Saturday. They did basically want they wanted the entire game.

NDSU's defense will be much better than Wazzu's however.

Re: NDSU Bison

That was a crazy game yesterday. Bison find a way to tie it up and then win in overtime. 50-44. Defense obviously needs to to tighten up before the Iowa game Saturday or it could get ugly.

Pretty good debut for Carson. 22 of 37 for 278 yards and 2 TD's. Eagles 29 Browns 10. Looking forward to going to Chicago next Monday for their Monday night game against the Bears.

NDSU at Iowa Saturday. Not liking their chances after last Saturday's game.

I'm expecting something like 38-20.. Iowa has looked great against 2 bad teams, and their toughest test so far will be Saturday, but the offense has been as efficient as I've seen since 2002 and the defense is pretty **** good. They might be getting the best QB play in Kirk Ferentz's tenure as coach. Still early, but CJ Beathard has made numerous NFL throws, and he's in complete control at the line of scrimmage. He's also a winner. 15-0 as a starter in the regular season now.

I worry some about Easton Stick, as he's a good QB and could make some throws on the side of the field Desmond King isn't on, but these teams play similar styles and Iowa does it with more talent and depth, particularly this year's Iowa team. Looking forward to seeing DeLuca play.

I'll look like a fool if NDSU wins this game, but at this point, I just don't see how that happens barring injuries.

Iowa up one, 21-20, in the third.

Never doubt the Bison. The defense tightened up which it needed to do and then both lines dominated the line of scrimmage. Biggest win to date against an FBS team. Wow.

And now Clay Matvick thinks they should join the Big 12.

Re: NDSU Bison

Kick Iowa out of the Union. What a worthless state. And if someone will shoot me in the head, so I don't have to listen to all the idiots in this town think NDSU is the greatest team in the history of football, I will pay you for the bullet.

Careful on that one, dirty. There are a lot of gopher fans out there who would like to do it but cannot afford the bullet.
