For the 1st time ever North Dakota State Bison Carson Wentz becomes the 3rd consecutive winner of the FCS Championship Elite 90 Award.

I think it's kind of cool that icehawk is so unabashedly proud. A bit of a provincial feel to it, but cool. I would be proud too.

They might be--I don't follow UND football or any basketball. Loyal alum, but hockey fan first. I'd rather watch most D1 schools play just about anybody in hockey than watch any college basketball game and most college football games. I'd rather watch a bunch of 5-year-olds play hockey than just about anything. Few things more delightful than that.

Of course, if it's in North Dakota there will be a few 8-year-old Canadians in there.

I was just taking a modest knock on a UND fan rooting for NDSU in anything. I hear UND alum refer to it as a safety school all the time. No big deal though. :)

For your info I went to neither school. I'm a fan of any team from North Dakota and one from Minnesota(my daughters Cobbers). Believe it or not there is quite a few of us who are fans of both UND hockey and NDSU football. Proud NoDakers. 😉

24-0 Bison at the half. Wentz is anything but rusty. Defense shutting down their high powered offense. Could not ask for a better half.

We now have a ballgame. JSU a different team so far. 24-7 and they have the ball in the red zone. A Wentz interception got them there. Bison held them to a field goal. 24-10.

Doesn't get a chance to enjoy it. Hopefully he gets picked and comps you some tickets to wherever he plays in the Bigs :)
