Ncha 11-12

Re: Ncha 11-12

Don't worry about Jackets posting anything about Point. Over the years, Point has had some success knocking Superior around. As a result, Jackets has become delusional and has been observed drooling in his beer. Any information regarding Point is probably being fed to him via a fellow delusional drooler with no knowledge of the facts. Jackets has been known to post some interesting statistics in the past, but his commentary, and hockey knowledge, has always been lacking. Go Pointers!

Re: Ncha 11-12

I have yet to hear any "facts" from you. All I've heard so far is innuendo and rumor. So, if you really have "facts," which I don't believe you do, let's hear them. As they say, either put up or shut up.

3 of the 4 goalies, including the main starter last season, have left the team.

Top Defender from last season has left the team.

Those are facts...I didn't say why they left the team or any other information, just pointing out stuff that can be visibly obtained by perusing the rosters. Everyone said I was full of garbage last year, and the Pointers barely got in. Watch Dawg, Point hasn't really knocked Superior around in awhile...so I'm not too concerned.

Re: Ncha 11-12

I guess I don't understand how you can assume 'trouble in the locker room' from looking at rosters. This is not D1 with scholarships and the like.

But... whatever

It has more to do with what I have heard about why these players left and how they left, but I won't discuss that on here.

If you just look at records there is a steady decline since Ninneman took over:
06-07 20-7-3 (Mostly Idalski's team)
07-08 22-3-2 (Mostly Idalski's team)
08-09 16-6-6
09-10 13-11-3
10-11 13-11-3

I don't know alot about the players they have coming in this year, but to have the losses they had shortly before the season started, I don't forsee them winning more than 9 maybe 10 this year.

Jackets, you don't know a lot about any players. Maybe you should be more concerned about your team:
05-06 18-6-3
06-07 23-6-1
07-08 17-8-2
08-09 18-9-2
09-10 13-8-7

Then they open with a loss to Hamlin who won a grand total of 4 games last year.
Forsee that......

Re: Ncha 11-12

Some good points Dawg! I hate all the bashing. The two teams that don't have all this crap going on will finish 1 and 2 (RF and SNC)!

I'm done discussing it for now....we'll let stuff play out for awhile. Looking forward to the rest of the teams to start playing!

I hate the bashing too. But I feel obligated to defend my favorite team when Jackets is constantly directing his unfounded bashes toward them.
I'm all for some good 'ol positive reporting going forward. Let's get some from everyone and support the girls (and coaches) on our favorite teams!

On the lighter side, I think your Dawgs will give RF a run for there money. I haven't heard anything about the new coach, but I believe they have the 2 best goalies in the league!! I believe there back up would start on any other team. Also we need Yellow Jacket to speak for us in the East, because the NCHA is a pretty talented league!!

Not sure what you meant about "the new coach". Ninnemann is going into her 6th season as head coach with Point She was also Idalski's assistant for a year. She is still very young, and I believe there is no doubt she will continue to improve. A good example is Joe Cranston, who is now in his 13th year(!), and certainly improved the program over that time. Time flies - enjoy the ride.

Curious about your opinion of the goalies. I have not had the opportunity to see them play yet. Will be there for the RF series on the 18th & 19th. Word is that there will be a good turn out of alumni to support the Pointers as well. Staying on the positive, I'll hold my opinion of Jackets speaking for the West.

I think he was talking about Adrian...The Bull Dawgs

Re: Ncha 11-12

I'm not sure how you can say the 2 best. The best in Michelin, but we have yet to see any of the backups play.

By season's end, SNC's Kaley Gibson will rank among the best goalies in the NCHA...

Depends on how those in front of her are playing. I would rank goalie stats as minutes played, save percent then goals against ave. If she has good D - the 2nd two will be pretty solid.

Thanks, Go Jacket I did mean the Adrian Bulldogs. I thought watch dawg was there fan/supporter. I have intention on watching Gibson play this year. Michelin is solid and I believe there back up is every bit as good!! Thats all I was saying. The Adrian/RF games will be the 2 games to watch this week end! They have good coverage. I will say UWS upgraded there coverage big time! I was real impressed. I think there are to many ?? with UWS to say they are going to sweep this weekend. Then next weekend they have Adrian!
