NCAA Quarterfinal Thread: Elmira vs Oswego State

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal Thread: Elmira vs Oswego State

PREZ; Wish I could be there to partake.

You've made your bed, now lie in it definition
You made a decision and now must accept its consequences.
Note: This expression is commonly used as a response to people who have been complaining about problems they have brought on themselves.

Heres wishing your writing two winning game recaps tonight with a beer in hand @ Norwich :)

I'm fully accepting of my decision to follow a career to Northfield, Vt. and I am pumped for today's action. These are days you live for in our business being able to host two NCAA Quarterfinals in your barn on one day.

I like your last line. There is a high probability when the final word has been typed and the stories are posted the Prez will be at the Knotty. :)

watching online. Wish Apple would allow Flash, would love to watch this on ipad
anyway not a fan of EC PP. 'Wego is running a high pressure PK which kills an Umbrella. Would like to see an overload off half wall

Wow, I was personally giving us a 60% chance of winning, but I didn't expect a 5-0 shutout, if we can beat Elmira like that I have confidence we can win another NC. Go Lakers.

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal Thread: Elmira vs Oswego State

would love to hear from soaring Eagles fans as they know their team better than we do, how did that game compare with the rest of the season for the eagles, they looked good at first then seemed to run out of gas, not to many QUALITY chances either.....ps Im sure we will hear from the Utica fans sying how they beat Amherst 3-0? and there in the FF...lol ugh

LaRose didn't play in that game. Im not so sure he will be anle to handle Oswegos firepower. Good luck to the Lakers. Should be an excelent game!

Well, since you mentioned it, we are guaranteed that one of the two teams playing in the national championship game will have lost to Utica this year!

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal Thread: Elmira vs Oswego State

LaRose is very good, but if Oswego can get in close and pick the corners it wont matter. They have to get in there take his eyes away and keep putting the pressure on and I think they can get to him. It should be a fun final four and I really don't see a clear cut favorite.

3 stars of the game Singleton,Boots and HAREEEEEEE..stretch is fun to watch he never stops and falls a lot but hes OK with me for sure..I knew Boots would break out and this was a good time to have a top shelf game, he hustles and hits as well which some dont see. as for HARE...AWESOME BABY to quote that BBALL guy

(From the road on the long ride home)... I would say Elmira played very well for the first two periods. Defense certainly kept them in the game. I thought Eric David played outstanding tonight, and I look forward to future contribution from him in the coming years. Offensively, EC did not get many quality chances at all. Sure, they led in shots, but most of those opportunities were from fairly bad angles. And when a good scoring opportunity did arise, Hare was up to the challenge. Morikowa was very impressive (all game) played his arse off tonight.

Then there was the third period. Not sure if the hole was just too deep or what, but there was a time where nothing seemed to go right. Tough stretch, for sure... and then it was over. Quote of the game from the arena (credit to Jim32): "Oswego is making us play their game right now." Story of the night, really.

**** proud of the Eagles. Oswego played well, and for the most part, so did EC. Great to finally meet jabber811 per-game, and also good to see Russell again, albeit only briefly.

Cheers, EC!! Hold your heads up high, men.
