would love to hear from soaring Eagles fans as they know their team better than we do, how did that game compare with the rest of the season for the eagles, they looked good at first then seemed to run out of gas, not to many QUALITY chances either.....ps Im sure we will hear from the Utica fans sying how they beat Amherst 3-0? and there in the FF...lol ugh
Well, since you mentioned it, we are guaranteed that one of the two teams playing in the national championship game will have lost to Utica this year!ps Im sure we will hear from the Utica fans sying how they beat Amherst 3-0? and there in the FF...lol ugh

I see, well thanks and HOPE to represent in the BIG BIG dance.....LaRose didn't play in that game. Im not so sure he will be anle to handle Oswegos firepower. Good luck to the Lakers. Should be an excelent game!
(From the road on the long ride home)... I would say Elmira played very well for the first two periods. Defense certainly kept them in the game. I thought Eric David played outstanding tonight, and I look forward to future contribution from him in the coming years. Offensively, EC did not get many quality chances at all. Sure, they led in shots, but most of those opportunities were from fairly bad angles. And when a good scoring opportunity did arise, Hare was up to the challenge. Morikowa was very impressive (all game) played his arse off tonight.would love to hear from soaring Eagles fans as they know their team better than we do, how did that game compare with the rest of the season for the eagles, they looked good at first then seemed to run out of gas, not to many QUALITY chances either.....ps Im sure we will hear from the Utica fans sying how they beat Amherst 3-0? and there in the FF...lol ugh

Then there was the third period. Not sure if the hole was just too deep or what, but there was a time where nothing seemed to go right. Tough stretch, for sure... and then it was over. Quote of the game from the arena (credit to Jim32): "Oswego is making us play their game right now." Story of the night, really.
**** proud of the Eagles. Oswego played well, and for the most part, so did EC. Great to finally meet jabber811 per-game, and also good to see Russell again, albeit only briefly.
Cheers, EC!! Hold your heads up high, men.
