Definitely not rooting for Denver, but that didn't even look like a penalty. Shore is like 5 inches taller than the guy he hit. Didn't make a move toward the guy's head, barely hit him, and because the guy's head is at Shore's shoulder, the guy's head hits Shore's shoulder. It appears now that any hit, whether or not intentional, to a guys head results in a penalty. If that continues, throwing a check makes no sense because of the threat of a penalty.

I agree totally, brutal reffing. They are making stuff up as they go along.....They missed it, should be no penalty.

DU killed that off very well, UNH lost a real opportunity there but not having Goumas out there on the PP was tough

The list for reviewable plays is pretty small. Penalties of any type were never on the list that I saw. Replay is essentially for potential goals and clock adjustments. It's a pretty strict list, but maybe they allow for more in the tourney which I am unaware of.

CHN just tweeted that refs can review to determine WHO committed the penalty, but since there was no call made for a penalty....Weird.

I guess we can say that "Puck don't lie" and since no goals were scored on the PP... ;)

Either could be true. The last one to ask for that should be consulted for clarification is me. ;)

This game seems very typical of the season. They just can't quite get it together.
