Believe me, penalties are included in what is not reviewable. That's why Gwoz was upset. Shouldn't have been missed in live action, however...

they can use it to identify who committed the infraction.... if they called the penalty after consulting with a linesman that may have seen it, they can go to the replay to identify the player...

93.2. NCAA Championship Procedures - In order to reverse an on-ice ruling,
the replay must include conclusive video evidence. One of the following
criteria must be met for replay to be used:

• To correctly identify individuals who participated in a fight or
committed an infraction.

I yeah -- I remember. Last Friday, end of the second period, with an ill-fated two goal lead.

Are penalties normally reviewable? I have never seen that before.

Having read the ncaa rule book many times, penalties are not included in the list of reviewable items. Granted, they are not explicitly excluded, but the inclusion list relates only to goals and time. In other words, this is complete bul1$hit.

Steve: my son is headed back (with his terrific new girlfriend) nonstop to Denver on UA 1139. His buddy just brought by a sensational Maibock (sp?) that his small brewery on Wilmington DE brewed earlier today. Amazingly fresh taste. So if things go well here, this will be a pleasant evening here in rural Hunterdon County.

We won 20 again, we made the NCAAs again, BUT...
we were one and done again.

Didn't reallyexpect a natty, but it would be nice to be at the Frozen Four Again!
