NCAA Hockey - 2023/24 **Insert Witty Tagline**

Michigan is 100% out. There are three teams sitting below them in pair wise.

Edit: oh wait QPac jumped them! I thought qpac was below with Hopy Cross.
The CHN matrix is interesting. QU has a 62% chance of making it versus UM's 42%, but QU's AQ percentage is 38%, meaning if they don't win the tournament they have less of a chance than UM.

Holy Cross beats AIC in OT, 4-3. That'll do it for AIC's D1 program. And with the way the school's going I'm not sure how long there'll be a D2 team or a school.

It'll be Notre Dame at Michigan State and Penn State at Ohio State.

Four inches from a road sweep. UW loses 3-2 tonight after being handed the series on a platter last night but refusing to cash in.

Confused how the voter holding out his WMU first place vote was convinced by this weekend’s results to finally switch this week to (presumably) BC.

8-3 and 5-2 against Miami wasn’t good enough?

Human voting is so incredibly stupid. I've always hated it to some extent. Now I look at it almost as a way for writers to force themselves into the room to rub elbows with the teams and governing bodies. Barf.

It would be nice if around Thanksgiving they started using the Pairwise for the rankings on TV. It was nice being voted #1 about a month ago, but seemed pointless when BC was far and away #1 in the Pairwise.

If the season ended today:

Manchester
#1 BC vs #21 Sacred Heart
#8 Providence vs #9 Denver

Toledo
#2 Michigan State vs #15 Minnesota State
#7 UConn vs #10 Ohio State

Allentown
#3 Maine vs #14 Michigan
#6 BU vs #12 Penn State (host)

Fargo
#4 Minnesota vs #13 Quinnipiac
#5 Western Michigan vs #11 UMass

I know this was sort of a rebuilding year, but Christ what a limp to the finish line. Frankly, I am also tired of rooting for an average hockey team in the worst conference in D1. Short of multiplying the size of the university endowment tenfold and moving the campus to fucking Green Bay, that's not changing though.

Take solice in that you're still viable...

We've become what Tech was in the '00s....

After last night Quinnipiac and Michigan are the only bubble teams, unless the non-CCHA and AHA tournaments all have bid stealers. Arizona State has an at-large chance apparently, but it's so small it's rounding down to 0.0% on the matrix.
