NCAA Hockey - 2023/24 **Insert Witty Tagline**

Holy Cross-AIC postponed because AIC did not have any healthy goalies. Interestingly, Merrimack also did not have any healthy goalies against Stonehill earlier this year, but chose to play and started a student manager at goalie.

Sounds like AIC can either try to make it up later or will forfeit.

Michigan has gone full North Dakota, more ejections than goals this weekend

snuggerud hit from behind after scoring in empty net

Get fucked, you pieces of shit. Give him a match penalty, what a degenerate shithead that can’t stand his team looked like a bantam team last night getting the puck taken away like candy from a baby

real class bunch here naurato

If the injuries to Thomas and Falloon tonight keep them both out next week (and it sounds like they will) we wont be able to field a full 18 skaters.

Move 3 defensemen to forward and go with 5 D?

It's a good thing Michel has looked as compitent as he has, cause a guy who was brought in as a practice player may find himself on the 3rd line getting plenty of ice time next week.

I shouldn't feel disappointed in losing in a 3x3 gimmick to the defending national champ tonight, but I do. Anyway I think WMU is pretty good this season. We should contend for the NCHC title and our first trip to the Frozen Four.

I'm sure we'll eventually have the Golden Puck, where a team can choose any player for a penalty shot at any point in the game.

I echo DGF's comments. Michigan doesn't deserve any respect as a program right now. Classless goons. I haven't seen a team play like that since someone threw a bucket of water on Hakstol and Cary Eades had a wooden stake plunged into his chest.

What do you expect from an athletic department that cancels games because they're going to lose. They took a couple bitch penalties at the end of our 4-1 smackdown of them too. It is what they are.

Not my jam. But, evidently the players wanted and like them. So, whatever have fun. Very Arizona State, though.

I guess the team a few years ago requested them, and Nike took forever getting them done. Then, numbering and lettering them took a long time locally as well.

One of the problems you have pulling up last minute replacements (I remember RIT pulling up the club team goalie a few years back), is they still have to go through the NCAA Clearing House which can take a little bit of time, even if you ask for a rush job. And if that replacement is so last second, like AIC probably was (they had a goalie who played the night before in a 1-0 OT loss), then they might not have had the time to clear him.

Looks like Wisconsin is past their slow start. 4-0 over UM last night. First time Michigan has been shutout three straight in 82 years.

Missed the MSU-MN game last night, but glad MSU was able to steal a point back in the standings on the road.

And don’t look now, but Long Island is knocking on the door for an at-large bid sitting at 21st right now. They’re going to run into the issue Alaska did a couple years ago needing to win most or all of their games as the strongest team left is Wisconsin and they still have Stonehill for 5 more along with 4 against Lindenwood and UAA. Can’t afford to lose any of those.

MSU-MN game was a good one. Nice back and forth. Spartans are definitely the best team they’ve faced so far. I couldn’t be mad about the result after winding up with 9 forwards.

Sounds like Wood might be back tonight after surprisingly being cut from Canada’s WJC roster. I’m still worried about how tired the rest of the forwards might be, though.
