NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

So now that LeBron's ego has surpassed Kobe's....when does he get away with rape?

What he just did to the Cavaliers doesn't count...

Too soon?

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Supposedly Miami just dealt Beasley, a 2nd and swapped 1st rounders with Minnesota.

If this is true, I can only assume that Kahn is actually Isiah Thomas after getting Michael Jackson syndrome.

If that pick ain't protected, there should be riots. If T-Wolves end up with top 5, no swap.

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Posted by a friend of mine who's brother lives in Cleveland...

Just talked to my brother and he said the "fans" are throwing rocks at the Lebron billboard downtown! The whole town is ****ed! Two arrests already

I think they're upset.

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

WTAM in Cleveland has spent the last three hours pretty much tearing LeBron to shreds.

Gilbert now proceeding to say that LeBron did in fact quit during the playoffs and too many Cavs fans were defending him.

And the reason he turned down Chicago? As soon as management said they didn't want to deal with his "entourage" shenanigans, he dropped them from consideration.

This guy's falling from grace faster than Tiger Woods. JFC.

BrettFavre is saying to himself...."So THAT'S how it's done!"

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

As bad as things are in Cleveland, how'd you like to be the Nets? They cleared a ton of cap space, lost 70 games and didn't land a single big free agent. Their big signing is Travis Outlaw. By my count, they only have six players under contract for next season. Assuming they resign restricted FA Josh Boone and their two draft picks, that brings it to nine.

They're going to end up giving bad free agents a ton of cash to sign up.

At least Cleveland still has a few decent players.

According to the star tribune, MN can delay the swap of 1st round picks for up to 7 years. I'd say that gives them time to stop sucking so much that they're a perpetual lottery team.

And I thought I was an optimist...

Bakunin = 1/scooby

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

There's something like 12 teams in the draft lottery. They could certainly improve to 13th-worst in 7 years. :p
