NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Brian Windhorst:
Trust me from as who's dealt with Gilbert, I can only imagine what the first draft looked like. This was probably PR team's compromise.

Let's go play this for the Cavs franchise.

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Question: are there any valuable free agents left for the Cavs to sign this year, or did LeBron wait until they were all off the table before making his move, thus leaving the Cavs high and dry?

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Let's go ahead and move the Cavs to Buffalo because NO ONE is going to watching the Cavs ever again.

I honestly don't know, but one thing I did see was that teams were signing big stars to "show LeBron" that he'd be surrounded by talent.

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

How appropriate that a movie called, "Dispecable Me" is coming out this week.

Kinda sumps up LeBron doesn't it. :D

Nope. LeBron was pretty much waiting for everyone else to make their move before he made his choice.

To boot, the free agents coming out in the next few years are going to be heavily courted by the stars and their new teams. Amare is trying to get Carmelo Anthony to the Knicks in 2011. The Three Stooges want Chris Paul in Miami in 2012 as well.

Cleveland is boned.

The DP show had a contest to see what the title of the ESPN show should be and that was my answer...and that was two days ago, before he told the city of Cleveland to bend over.

Looking at the list of the best free agents, the top 3 are in Miami and all of the top 10 are signed. The cupboard is pretty bare.

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

And because no sporting event is officially official until we have one of these:

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Cleveland got screwed over worse than the act that was named after it that has the word steamer in it.

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Supposedly Miami just dealt Beasley, a 2nd and swapped 1st rounders with Minnesota.

If this is true, I can only assume that Kahn is actually Isiah Thomas after getting Michael Jackson syndrome.

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

I bet if Dan Gilbert were to be caught with three Conex boxes full of HGH, most NBA fans would be willing to look the other way at this point.

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Was that kind of a low class thing for Gilbert to do? Of course.

Does that change the fact that I'm giving Gilbert a standing ovation in my home office? Not at all.

Too bad he didn't know about him leaving in advance. It would have been **** funny if he had cut an ad saying that stuff and had it run near the end of the Lebronathan.
