NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Only saw the highlights but even ESPN seemed to be suggesting that Kobe got every call down the stretch and the Bucks got screwed.

Don't you know that if you lay a finger on Kobe its a foul?

^$&)#@^$&()@#*

The Bucks need all the help they can get. :( It was a fun game to watch - even though the last call blew more than all the others (foul called on Bogut instead of charge on Kobe). It was nice to see Michael Redd finally play well.

edit: by the way, to update my earlier post, Ridnour dislocated his elbow vs. the Celtics (imagining that gives me the heebie jeebies). He didn't miss a game (although he missed the rest of that one - pansy :p) but now wears an elbow brace reminiscent of Barry Bonds' body armor.

This is pretty cool - Milwaukee's Squad 6. Andrew Bogut buys 100 tickets for every home game, and auditions loud, crazy fans to use them.

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

The Celts Orlando game was truly boring but seeing the Celts win was good. The LA Cleveland game is great, Phil whining about the refs while Kobe runs people over and nothing gets called

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Yet another mid court Lewinski for the Hawks. Bennett Salvatore needs to be handcuffed to TBA for the next 20 years.

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

The Pistons are never going to win another game. Ever.

Good. They threw in the **** towel last year with the Iverson trade and then limped just enough to get their tails kicked in the first round where the Palace sounded like Quicken Loans West.

The thing should have been blown up midway through last year.

Hey remember when the Celtics traded Joe Johnson for Rodney Rogers and Tony Delk?

Good times.

Umm...never mind.
Dumars should have been fired after last year. Unfortunately, I think he'll get to keep his job...

Dumars isn't being fired anytime soon, and he shouldn't be. He's a better GM than 80% of the other imbeciles that run teams in the NBA. Up until last year, his teams went to 5 straight conference finals, won an NBA title, and was roughly 7-9 minutes away from another one, all under his tenure. Given what he had when he took over, he's done well. It's simply rebuilding time in Detroit.

This. He built the team up to the 2004 title team and the conference final run. Now he gets a shot to do it again.

Right now Detroit fans are very lucky. We've got 3 very good GM's........................................and then there's the Lions. *shrug*

And yes, I'm willing to defend Dombrowski at any time.
