Re: My Stanley Cup Runneth Over

Congrats to Chicago. In all candor Boston should have been sent home weeks ago by Toronto. And now it's on to the off-season.;)

Yep!

Re: My Stanley Cup Runneth Over

Melrose especially oily (he had predicted the Broons would win the cup), making excuses for himself and Boston. "The Bruins were the better team for long stretches of the game." Yeah, well quoting a famous baseball player: "Look at the scoreboard now, grasshopper." Five words for ya, Melrose: two goals in 17 seconds.

The Bruins must've angered Jobu.

I'm.......sad.

Congrats to the Blackhawks. The best team in the league all season, you deserved it. It was a treat to play you. Thoroughly entertianing for the hockey fans. Seems a shame it didn't go seven, just because it felt like it should. Heartbraking way to end it for Boston. Would it have been any easier if Chicago had scored with 7 1/2 minutes to go and got an empty netter? You know, just outright winning it? Or was this better? Either way would have been a stake through the heart I suppose.

*big sigh*

I'm sad hockey season is over.

NESN reporting that Bergeron played with a broken rib and a separated shoulder.

It was an epic/titanic struggle. Both teams could have given up multiple times in each and every game. Well, maybe besides game 3 where Boston pretty much dominated from start to finish. This was a far tougher series than the Philly one 3 years ago.

Other than Saturday, I could never once relax and enjoy these games.

Boston showed a lot and I have a feeling we could meet again. Congrats on a great season and series.

Somebody check on EODS!

:D:p
Appreciate the concern.

As I noted in an email to my friends:

First the Heat, now this horse****.

I've got a feeling that the Yankees or Cardinals are winning the World Series, the BCS will continue to be dominated by Civil War losers and some insufferable ****s are winning the Super Bowl.

Great series, though. It could have only been improved by going seven games and by having been won by any other franchise on this planet besides the Canucks.
