Re: My Stanley Cup Runneth Over

Ahhhh karma. Chicago wins the Cup in Boston when the Bruins go James Reimer in the final minute and a half of the game.

Re: My Stanley Cup Runneth Over

Sucky way to lose, but can't complain about the effort. Sometimes you just lose to a better team. Congrats Chicago.

Re: My Stanley Cup Runneth Over

Wow. Just, wow. Congratulations to the Blackhawks.

Sorry Boston fans. I know I mentioned earlier that I was tired of seeing Boston teams win, but I would never wish having to watch losing it like that on anyone. Ugh.

Wow.

That was amazing.

"Chelsea Dagger" (as everyone knows) is the Blackhawks' goal scoring song. But for generations, as fans exited the old Chicago Stadium, Al Melgard would play the lovely, haunting My Vision on the massive stadium Barton organ* It was a tune of his composition, written for Sonja Henie. And tonight it feels appropriate.

Da fuq did I miss while waiting for air scam customer service to tell me what I already suspected?!?! Christ. I truly didn't have a horse in the race, as SLU has grads on both teams, but that was a collapse that words can't describe.

In an odd way, this was less painful. Better to be struck by lightning than to suffer.:(:o;)
