C'MON MAN! Why am I getting vibes from the MSU-Goph series from 2 years ago? Actually, props to St. Cloud for not rolling over after the second - that was inspired play for the first part of the third, while we looked like we were on autopilot.

Should be a solid game 3 tomorrow. If Kael M. scores MSU wins.

Well, now Motzko has the luxury of being able to choose his goalie for Sunday. Jutting can't ask Cook to go three games in three days (can he?) so he'll have to play Lee, who hasn't played much lately. Huskies win.

Great first two periods by the Mavs tonight. Great 3rd by the Huskies.

Roe made a statement from last nights faceoff, with a nice shot from the top after coming on as the extra attacker for the delayed call. I thought Roe was going to bust his stick as hard as he was calling for the puck. Also, when he crashed the net on that next play, I have never seen so much speed from him in a long while, he was quick.

On a side note, if there are any NHC staff on these boards, who the heck makes the call not to open the ticket office after the game! Now we have to make two trips (10a-5p) to the NHC to get tickets, or wait until 6pm and get what's left. Does not make sense to me.

Should be a great game 3!

Cook looked strong until the 3rd, almost looked like he was saving his energy for a game 3.

Question is, who does Motzko go with?

I think we will see Dunn, for similar reasons you stated above, but boy was M. Lee proving himself tonight.

With students returning from break tomorrow, I sure hope to see more student support for the home team. There were more Mavs fans in attendance than SCSU students.

Good to hear students will be back in town. The building hasn't had much energy Fri and Sat. Could use the students to carry home a victory and trip to St. Paul. (Maybe two weekends in St. Paul:D

Two thoughts:

1) Although Marvin's been snakebitten this year, he's much more valuable on the defensive end than the offensive. But if you JUST wanna go offense, career collegiate numbers:

Lamoureux, 61 GP, 10G, 8A, 0.295 pts/game
Marvin, 112 GP, 18G, 35A, 0.473 pts/game

Even with an horrific offensive junior year, Marvin is still whooping Lil' Lammy in points per game, and could go pro after this year and know that Mario in 4 years couldn't catch Marvin's 3 years at St. Cloud

2) As bad of a year as Marvin's having, he's still got more points this year than Genoway. :D

Well I certainly didn't see that 3rd period coming!

I think Motzko goes with Lee tonight. Should be a fun game.

Should be an interesting game tonight. The momentum has swung both ways and I'd say it's about neutral going into tonight. I don't want OT like we had with UMD a couple of years back. Settle it in 3 periods without ruining my heart.
