Re: Movies! The Last Jedi: Ragnarok

I wouldn't have nearly as much of an issue with the comic book movies if there weren't about 2 coming out every month. It seems like they keep making the same movies over, and over, and over again. I mean, how many times can you tell the same exact story about some ******* kid getting bit by some poison spider?

Sony's on its third installation of that exact story, but it's got six more in the bank. And that's not counting its sequels. :D

And lets not forget the Venom movie with Tom Hardy that just finished filming.

The constant rebooting is getting out of control.

That's why I prefer Marvel. Marvel has never rebooted anything yet. And I doubt they will. Sony, Fox, and Universal have done nothing but.

Also, can appreciate what Disney is doing with Star Wars. No Reboots.

The Incredible Hulk vs. The Hulk (and I don't remember which came first). Edward Norton vs. Eric Bana. Remake or Reboot? And lest we forget the Mark Ruffio being the third actor to play the role since these movies came into being...

Then you're going to love the bombshell Hasbro dropped at the New York toy fair this afternoon. Paramount is rebooting the Transformers series. That news overshadowed the news that the G.I. Joe series is also being rebooted, with a new film set for 2020.

Bana came first. Universal film. Never involved with Marvel Studios. Hot mess. Edward Norton film is considered part of the MCU. I guess you could call it a reboot if you want. Universal Studios still owns the rights to that film and any stand alone Hulk film. I don't include it in my MCU because it was horrible IMO. However, I don't get to decide. That being said it was better than the Bana one, and once they did The Hulk in the Avengers they finally got the character correct. The Norton Hulk is the worst of the MCU films IMO. By far.

I enjoyed it, but had to leave before the closing credits completed. Now I'll have to see if I can find them on the UsTube.
