Movies: Poor Things, Barbie and Oppenheimer are stuck in La La Land

Many are saying it was the best blowjob ever. Doctors gave it the highest scores they'd ever seen. Generals came up to me with tears in their eyes and said "Sir I'm so privileged I got to see you blow Bubba. It is the highlight of my life."

Waiting for the Kansas/Duke game I was checking out the Hulu movie library and found Predator: Killer of Killers. Started watching and said WTF is this(it was animated)? Thought it was pretty good.

Circling back to Sweeney, not only was her movie one of the worst wide-release flops of all-time, but it is now #1 at having the worst 2nd week drop. It cratered 92% last weekend, easily the worst ever.

Is this because she's a MAGAt or because it sucks?
Both. Plus the box office has been historically bad this autumn. I believe it's now four consecutive weeks that we are below even post-pandemic averages. We'll see if that changes this weekend with Wicked: For Good

Wicked will help but not enough to change the narrative. Even around Halloween the horror glicks bombed and they have low budgets.

Me personally I try to go all the time but so many of the movies just feel missable. Nothing out there screams "if I dontvsee this today I am missing out!".

It will only get worse if Paramount and The Saudis buy Warner Brothers.
