Wait, so the goddammed studios sat with their thumbs up their *ss for 100 days and then just went "yeah, we see your point, where do we sign?"

Goddammit. Is that what makes a good CEO who deserves 300% pay over their average salaries? Replace *every* CEO with AI.

Also, was it here earlier in the thread or maybe it was TikTok, but I saw that the same sh*t the studios are pulling today was exactly what lead to them being broken up in the 30's. We need to re-break up these companies.

Well more like they figured they could starve them out and then divide them and when that didn't work they bent over and presented their ass. Same thing that happened to UPS only it took longer.

UAW is going to make mincemeat out of The Big Three. The democratization of information on CEO salaries and the overall wage gap along with full on solidarity is just a killer! And as a 3x union member and negotiator I love it!

mookie watched The Program (early 90s). Eh. Young Halle Berry was nice. Had some stars like James Caan and Omar Epps. But bland.

Day of The Jackel. (1974) - love the old movies where mookie gets to see Paris and London and South of France before stupid developments took over. Plus the way people dressed. Neat and classy. Funny to hear all the English actors with their Brit accents playing French authorities. Only one mookie recognized was Draxx from Bond playing lead French investigator.

mookie watch Red after work today for about the 300th time. Just love it. Malkovich is something else. Girl and mookie went to London to see him play Harvey Weinstein in a play maybe 5 years ago. Play was just alright, but he is great

It's a testament to how lame Space Force was that Malkovich couldn't save it.

I saw this movie when it came out (I was 11 -- good parenting) and it gave me nightmares for weeks.

When mookie was young his grandma took him to see The Swarm in theaters.

mookie didn’t go out again that summer. Never left the house!!!

Watched Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Dungeons and Dragons, and Indiana Jones 5 on the flight back from Europe. GotG 3 and Indy 5 were both 45 minutes too long. Better editing would've made them both better. Instead they both dragged a lot. GotG3 gets a B-, Indy 5 gets a B. D&D gets a B+ simply because it knew it was camp and didn't pretend to be anything else, but it did campy action well.

I so wanted to love Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, and defend it as a subtle gem which the smoothbrains did not appreciate.

But it is such a mess.
