I think people who think this is the worst SW movies in 20 years forgot episodes 1-3. Which, quite honestly, is very understandable. They were not really worth the time to watch them.

Kids really like episodes 1-3. Also, kids are dum.

What the hell happened to Jeff Conway?

Drugs. Outside of John and Olivia, no one really had a big career. Stockard kinda did on stage, but that's about it. Edd Byrnes had a moment in the sun, but it was brief.

Always mention of how old ONJ was, but believe stockard was in her 30s then as well. Stockard Channing is/was incredible talented.

She was. And Cha Cha? That woman had to be in her 30s at least. Still smokin', but not high school age by any means.

Edit: Cha Cha was only 30. Wow.

One of the Pink Ladies was on Empty Nest (a Golden Girls spinoff  ) back in the day. Ah mediocre sitcoms :D

I didn't think the modern film version of The Producers was bad.

Rent sucked because most of the characters in it were written as annoying cliches to begin with. There's an outstanding, albeit long-winded video essay about this (also: fck Reagan and Pat Buchanan).

It didn't suck, but it didn't get nearly the accolades as the stage version.

Still, it's more common that stage to film musicals are not as popular on the screen as on the stage. So take a polarizing musical, and hope for the best? I just don't see Cats getting a lot of turnout vs. what is out right now.

There are a ton of movies out there that I don't even need Cats. 1917 looks like a great film, for instance. Actually, I'm looking forward to even seeing Little Women, as I'm a fan of two of the actors.

Never saw that show, although I was aware of it.

And for the record, Grease was a dirty, dirty, dirty movie. :D At least, given the context and overall plot. The language in that would probably garner an R in today's world.

I’m way late on this, but finally saw the Snowden doc Citizenfour. Really enjoyed it.
A few colleagues were arguing over whether or not he’s a traitor so I thought I’d watch it

The Rise Of Skywalker:

Fitting end to the series of movies. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

And WW84 (the Wonder Woman sequel) looks kick-***.

Bombshell.

Pay special close attention to the text on the screen after the movie if you want to know how really ****ed up the world is.

5 out of 5.

I’m guessing this is a popular choice
