MN @ UND: tArrogance vs ___________

Danny Kristo is yelling. He's not allowed to do that! :(

Andrew MacWilliam scoring made my weekend.

Kristo is a baby. Has always been a baby. And I've watched him play since squirts.

And no, when you make it to this level, his behavior tonight is unacceptable.

This and the failure to win key puck battles in their own end is what doomed the Gophers.

Effort is fine (expected that against a rival), but they need to execute. They can start by taking Ambroz out back and shooting him if he continues with his stupid penalties.

This.

How terrible. He shouldn't be allowed to act like a dope during a huge rivalry game!!! What a travesty that he did that!

He didn't step back on the ice and didn't throw anything on or towards the ice or anything. It's amazing that a couple Gopher fans are really that upset about this. Especially given how stupid of a hit it was by Kristo. Who cares about him acting like an idiot?

Well I'm sure if a lawn mower was nearby, he may have channeled his inner Frattin and tossed it out there.

All in all pretty good game.. Is that a new camera angle at the Ralph? I dont remember such an overhead angle, and that constant zooming was a little irritating until my eyes adjusted.

Re: MN @ UND: tArrogance vs ___________

Nelson played well but it looked like Patterson should have been able to stop Nelson's game winning goal. Both teams came out with lot of speed. Thought UND had a hard time getting the puck out of their zone at times, but UND also had a few really good scoring chances. Some of the younger players getting ice time played better than I expected. With so many players out and with such a large freshman class I thought UND would make more mistakes. Didn't think UND could hold the Gophers to one goal.

What's with all the Gophers trying to face wash the Sioux players all the time? Looks like they are constantly trying to provoke the Sioux players into fights. However, that being said, players from both teams seemed to maintain their composure in the heat of battle. There were a few incidents of dumb penalties as expected but not too many.

Good win. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Tony Lucia trashed a locker room at the Ralph. That was great behavior too, huh? Both sides have seen poor behavior over the years of this rivalry.

Eye for an eye. Rivalries bring out the best and worst in people. I'm not going to defend Danny, but there are lots of babies out there, that have acted like it at times. Danny's from EP. It's not surprising he has this attitude.

Personally, I think Gopher fans (and others, but I'll focus on Gopher fans) are whining about Kristo's attitude so much because they need something to whine about after a loss to a "mediocre" team.

I still don't quite get it. The gophers seemed to hustle, yet there was something lacking (aside from scoring). It's as if they did hot have any hunger for the net or something.

Bjugstad may have made a costly mistake, but man is he a horse. He could keep the puck like Vanek at times.
