That group is comedy gold. Not even Brent and Happy combined hate us that much.

One would think that if they really wanted to exclude UND fans from coming in they would just make the group private, but what do I know? It's also nice that WPoS is an admin.

I expect the series to be close. The only similarity to last year for both teams will be the "vengeance factor". There's still a lot of unfinished business with a few players. It might get a little chippy at Joe Blacks again too:

Brenthoven deserves a lot of credit. Leaving the "Fighting" out of the UND nickname shows genuine cultural sensitivity and is simply a very nice politically correct gesture.

That group is hilarious.
Ryan Dvoracek, the group admin, must have been completely hammered when he created the group...and then also for every subsequent post, as he makes about 350 spelling/grammatical mistakes on there. One tip...it's "you're", not "your". Nicely done, showing off your <strike>college</strike> <strike>high school</strike> middle school education.

Oh dear, according to his MySpace page, he wants to be a police officer. Scary. And he likes Nascar, which should tell you something about his IQ level.

According to the Gophers fans that I have talked to this problem has been rectified and apparently the Fighting Sioux have no chance of winning this weekend’s series. Also I was told that Cade Fairchild is actually going to remember where the blue line is this season. Wait to the Gophers run into MacWilliams aka "MacMonster."

That's why Hexy is going to throw a couch at the Gophers. It will totally throw them off their game and the Sioux will dominate afterwards.

Brent should totally drive his forklift up to Grand Forks. He of course will not though because going to road games confuses and scares him.

UND fans, how did Kristo and Gleason play this last weekend?

I really like Gleason and think he'll bring soemething that has been missing for UND. I've never really seen Kristo play all that much and am interested to see this weekend.

I really like Gleason and think he'll bring soemething that has been missing for UND. I've never really seen Kristo play all that much and am interested to see this weekend.

Gleason has played very well in his first 3 games at the collegiate level. He's been skating with a lot of confidence and has been handling the puck very well. Hasn't really been looking like a freshman in the games he has played so far.

As for Kristo he's showed why he received all the hype he has been getting. I think he's really itching to score his first collegiate goal though since he had plenty of opportunities against Merrimack but no luck.

I really like Gleason and think he'll bring soemething that has been missing for UND. I've never really seen Kristo play all that much and am interested to see this weekend.

I thought he acquitted himself pretty well for his first game. He was teamed with another freshmen defenseman and they picked up quite a bit of playing time. They really didn't see much ice during "crunch time" Saturday night, but he did play briefly on the powerplay.

If that "something" that Gleason will bring to the team is a puck rushing defenseman, you could be right, although right now this UND team has probably the most aggressive set of puck rushing defensemen I've ever seen at UND. Between Genoway, Marto and Gleason, I like the skating ability of our blueliners.

It will be interesting to see how Joe does this weekend. Playing against Minnesota's forwards will be a whole different ballgame from Merrimack.
