Re: MN Golden Gopher 2010 Offseason Thread

Only Gopher fans can be winless and still Happy.

I got up this morning, and said to myself, "At least I don't live in a ****hole like Wisconsin", and everything seemed just swell.

Yeah, but Menards has become too mainstream. Micro-thinneries are the only way to go.

you have to be careful, some swine will take a gallon of Menard's' cheap stuff, add just a pinch of raw kerosene, a little bit of peppermint oil, toss in a pork rind, slap on a new label, and wala, "The Good Stuff".

And the drama continues....................

And read Hammy's Tweet from today.

This just increases the chance by about ten-fold that Ambroz bypasses the U altogether. Excellent job, Lucia.

On the departing player: Not good news, indeed. If it turns out to be true. Kangas is the one that came to mind first, but who really knows?

Re: MN Golden Gopher 2010 Offseason Thread

Lucia has firmly stated to the media on at least a couple occasions that he did not expect any more departures. Turning away Seth Ambroz was partially based upon that assumption. An unexpected departure seems to indicate that Lucia is a bit out of touch with his players. After passing up on Walters and Ambroz, an unexpected departure looks particularly bad for the coaching staff at this time.

On another note, Maturi may get a contract extension before Bruinicks retires. If he gets his, my guess is Lucia will get his also.
