MLB 2025: The Dodgers vs The Field

When I was young college student and aspiring soccer referee I lived with my uncle who was a die hard Mariners fan. Whenever the M's had bases loaded, he'd always run and turn on his radio just so he could hear Dave Niehaus and his "Grand Salami" call. And he'd always do this little dance going "salami salami salami".

He died a few years ago. Never got to see his M's in the World Series.

When the M's loaded the bases and Suarez came up, I felt compelled to get up and do a little dance, going "salami salami salami".

That was for you Unc.

I'd ask if there's room on the M's bandwagon, but after my Brewers stunk up the NLCS, I don't think I'm welcome.

1995 ALDS was the greatest game I ever watched. And I grew up a Griffey Jr fan. That swing was just.... *swoon*
